Imagine spending your days moving between hospital wards, worrying about your seriously ill child, far from home and your usual support network. After an exhausting day, even simple tasks like grocery shopping and cooking can feel overwhelming.
For many families staying at Ronald McDonald House ACT & South East NSW, this is their reality.
Our House exists to support families while their child receives medical care. Each year, hundreds of families rely on our programs for accommodation, practical support and a place that feels safe, welcoming and familiar during an incredibly difficult time.
Pantry Pals is a community giving program that helps ensure our House pantry is stocked with everyday essentials all year round.
By becoming a Pantry Pal, you are helping families with seriously ill or injured children by keeping our pantry full and ready whenever they need it. Your support provides more than just food. It offers comfort, care and the reassurance that the community is standing beside them throughout their stay.
After long days at the hospital, something as simple as returning to a well-stocked kitchen can bring a sense of relief and normality. Parents often tell us that not having to worry about meals gives them the time and energy to focus on what matters most, being there for their child and family.
Your generosity helps reduce everyday costs for families and ensures they have access to the essentials that make the House feel like home.
You can become a Pantry Pal by supporting the program through one of the following sponsorship options:
$250 per month sponsorship
or
$3,000 yearly sponsorship
Each 12 month commitment helps keep our pantry stocked for families all year round.
As a Pantry Pal, your name or business logo will be proudly displayed on the pantry door within the House. This acknowledgement is a visible reminder to families and visitors of the kindness and generosity that helps make our House possible.
