Volunteers are at the heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT & SE NSW. Their generosity and compassion make our work possible every day.
Our volunteer community provides practical, hands on support in many ways. From preparing home cooked meals and supporting families around the House, to helping at community events and assisting with the day to day running of our programs, every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Whether offering a listening ear, a warm meal or helping behind the scenes, our volunteers help create a welcoming and supportive environment for families with seriously ill or injured children during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
Join us in providing comfort, care and practical support to families with seriously ill or injured children when they need it most.
Volunteers are the heart of Ronald McDonald House, helping to provide families with sick or injured children an oasis of comfort in a sea of chaos. Volunteer’s provide a helping hand to assist us with everyday tasks around the House, 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.
Volunteers are the welcoming face in the Ronald McDonald House ACT & South East NSW Family Room. Whether it’s making a cuppa, lending an ear, or making sure the Family Room is a clean, comfortable and welcoming space – none of this is possible without the assistance of volunteers.
With the Family Room open 7 Days a week, shifts are available:
